THE BODY WELLBEING CLINIC

Hormonal & Menopausal Reflexology

I don’t feel like ‘me’. Am I suffering from hormonal imbalance?

Clients who are recommended to the nmf clinic, aren’t always entirely sure if they have an hormonal imbalance. They typically report feeling ‘stressed’, ‘tired’ and ‘off-kilter’, they are worried about headaches, weight loss, mood swings, sleeping patterns and even the impact this mix of symptoms has on their work and relationships.

These are all signs of a potential hormonal imbalance, potentially brought about by natural events such as pregnancy, miscarriage or menopause, or as a result of medication such as that use in assisted conception (IVF, IUI, ICSI).

The nmf clinic can help you in diagnosing the nature of your imbalance and provide you with a non-invasive, relaxing course of treatment to put your body back on the right path.

For many women, reflexology offers a natural, effective alternative to conventional medicated treatments offered by GPs.

Why should I have reflexology at the nmf clinic?

The nmf clinic is led by Liat D’Elia. She is highly experienced in treating women for a range of hormonal issues related to menopause, pregnancy, assisted conception and miscarriage.

Liat’s focus is on providing nurturing and supportive treatment using non-invasive gentle reflexology treatments. She has sensitive and responsive way of listening to you and your body as she uses the pressure points on your feet to calm, or stimulate, your body to naturally address any hormonal imbalance.

What are the typical symptoms of hormonal imbalance?

Women of all ages can suffer from a range of symptoms including:

  • Menstrual cycle: including heavy periods, mid-cycle pain, PMS, painful/tender breasts
  • Circulatory system changes: hot flushes, night sweats, puffiness, bloating
  • State of mind: anxiety, insomnia, foggy thinking, migraine headaches, memory problems, lethargy, mood swings, loss of libido
  • Sleeping: insomnia, difficulty sleeping, sleeping pattern changes
  • Ovaries and other organs: polycystic ovary syndrome, ovarian cysts, infertility, gallbladder problems, vaginal dryness, acne

What can you expect at your first treatment?

At your initial consultation, we will take a detailed medical history from you. Reflexology techniques can also support many on-going traditional pharmaceutical treatments, so it’s important we identify all the health and well-being issues that you are facing.

We may also offer hormonal diagnosis testing to confirm specific hormonal deficiencies or excesses within your body. This is non-invasive testing that allows us to monitor your progress throughout your treatment to ensure your overall good health and well-being.

You can generally look forward to a first treatment at your initial consultation too. This will be a gentle, exploratory treatment to get to know you and your body. From the outset, your treatment will address issues of anxiety by being relaxing and enjoyable.

We look forward to working with you to restore your hormonal balance. Please contact us to arrange an initial consultation.
